Florida's Forgotten Coast is a term that refers to the area extending from Mexico Beach on the west through Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas and Apalachicola to Carrabelle on the east, along the northwest coast of Florida's Gulf of Mexico. Due to several factors, this area has escaped the uncontrolled growth that much of Florida's Emerald Coast has experienced, and as a result, this area has maintained its small town charm.
